Jonathan Colton's leaked music
The message of empowerment that is slow, sensitive and poky are conveyed through the music. Jonathan Colton’s music was basically stolen as he says, “Content theft in plain side may be legal but its wrong”. He says that he basically did this to show that white musicians, appropriating music from black musicians. Colton says that he did not release the music but it was an unknown contribution to the peer episode in fox. He assumes that it might have appeared on the fan website, which is a leak and not release. The funniest part was that the character, which sang that song, was named Adam. In any case the copyright is violated. He says that using his audio, his fans did some artifacts, and it leaked out to be his music that he does not know it himself. So he had to change it to a new version from his original recording for the music foundation donation.

Tweeting, Revolution
Andy Carvin the one that kept tweeting
about the revolution in Egypt, was interviewed. He shared his experience about
twitter. The advantage of twitter is that, when the
journalist does not, knows answers for certain things; the followers in the
twitter come up with answers. Some videos are made based on the cultural facts
that the journalist knows about. He sorts out the videos by giving careful
attention to the footage that he receives, though it creates problems
sometimes. When he finds something unusual or he is ignorant about, he just
posts it and asks if anyone knew about it, which I think is the best thing in
Social network. Though he tweets revolution, he can feel free to ask and know
about it. Whereas, the other news broadcast does not work in this two-way
communication process. He says that he trust people that he knew, people who
get into personal communication with him, about the event. He also keeps
digging their twitter accounts to see, whom they have been following and it all
ended up with the protest leaders whom he found online, this made him believe,
that the information sent by them were true. He had revolutionary followers who
sent him videos that he posted in twitter and the next day it comes out in CCN.
He says that there is a cause in naming this as a social media because it also
shows the care and empathy for others, rather than just giving news about the
revolution.

Narnia. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
When I was in middle school, a team came to my school to show
the trailer of a movie named “Narnia”. I never watched the movie until a person
who had that DVD showed few scenes of the movie. I searched for the biography
and found that this movie is based on the book written by C.S. Lewis. Then I
saw the complete movie after I went to high school and I fell in love with that
movie. It is an amazing movie with kids that described the teachings of Bible.
All the scenes in the movie are my favorite, yet the scene where the white
witch Jadis meets Aslan to claim the blood of Edmund, so that she can rule
Narnia though she is not the rightful ruler. It is the intense scene, as no one
knows what is going to happen. Peter being the eldest son takes his sword
against the white witch to save Edmund the younger brother. The sound, the
reactions and the fear is well expressed and the witch shows her attitude and
power to Aslan, but neither does Aslan leaves his respect and honor. This scene
shows the power of God and Devil. Though Aslan wins the battle at the end of
the movie. It also shows my personal emotion and feeling when I stand in a
situation like Edmund, between God and evil power.
